This year the conference on “Technical and Field Related Problems of Traditional and Electronic Archiving will be held from April 6th - 8th, 2011 in Radenci/Slovenia and is intended to foster intellectual and professional knowledge. We look forward to a diverse range of responses to given general themes.
The Regional Archives Maribor is inviting archivists and other archival professionals to submit abstracts of papers related to the aspects of Technical and Field Related Problems of Traditional and Electronic Archiving. Submissions that respond to the general themes in any way are welcomed.
Topics are up-to-date and broad enough, therefore you are kindly invited to cooperate with an article.
We kindly ask you to inform us about your decision not later than Friday, December 3, 2010 at the address: Pokrajinski arhiv Maribor, Glavni trg 7, SI – 2000 Maribor or via e-mail: slavica.tovsak@pokarh-mb.si. When applying, please indicate your full name, title, name of the institution you work in, contact information, the title of the proposed paper and the abstract.

It is a good opportunity to meet a lot of proffesionals in archival field, but language can be a problem if there is no translation of presentations in English.
